DIRECTOR, WRITER, PRODUCER - Once the influential host of a groundbreaking show that launched the careers of R&B legends, Noble Blackwell and his legacy have been all but forgotten. This sizzle reel, which is being used to pitch for a feature documentary, uncovers the untold story of his rise, impact, and the forces that erased him from history—while his family fights to keep his memory alive. I directed, wrote, and produced this project.

EP/PRODUCER/WRITER - An anthology of immigrant stories featuring families from Haiti, Syria, Afghanistan and Venezuela who have resettled in Nashville. Created my junior year, I had the privilege of executive producing and producing the post side of the entire piece as well as producing and writing the Afghanistan section.

EP/PRODUCER - This docushort tells the story of an immigrant woman from Syria who fled to America to escape the violence of ISIS and the ongoing war in the Middle East. It explores her journey of survival, resilience, and rebuilding her life in Nashville, capturing the emotional and physical challenges she faced while seeking safety and new beginnings far from home.

EP/PRODUCER - This docushort tells the story of a family from Haiti who has resettled in America after fleeing gang violence. It explores their experiences as they adapt to life in Nashville, highlighting the challenges of adjusting to a new culture while seeking safety and stability. Through their journey, the family's resilience and strength shine as they work to build a hopeful future in their new home.

EP/PRODUCER - This piece tells the story of a Venezuelan family who fled their home due to soaring crime rates and political violence, leading to their separation during the journey to America. After enduring the challenges of displacement, they have now reunited in Nashville. The narrative highlights their struggle to adapt to a new life while overcoming the trauma of their past, showcasing their resilience and hope as they work to rebuild their lives in a new country.

EP/PRODUCER/WRITER - This piece chronicles the experiences of an Afghan family who sought refuge in America after the father, a U.S. military contractor, faced threats from the Taliban. Now living in Nashville, they confront the challenges of adjusting to life in a new country while coping with the uncertainties of their past. Their story reflects their perseverance and determination to forge a new path, emphasizing the unique journey of resilience that defines their new beginning.

PRODUCER/WRITER - This vibrant documentary short, crafted during my junior year of college, focuses on Nashville resident Carlos Partee, the visionary founder of the Nashville Black Market. It captures the challenges faced by African Americans in the small business landscape, weaving a rich tapestry of their stories. Through Carlos's journey, the film showcases how the Nashville Black Market fosters a dynamic space where these entrepreneurs can flourish, celebrating their resilience and creativity in the face of adversity.

DIRECTOR/WRITER - This short film chronicles the struggles of a high school girl as she confronts the challenges of fitting in and the allure of risky behaviors. Caught in a whirlwind of social dynamics and the pursuit of acceptance, she faces pivotal moments that test her values and choices. Through her journey, the film sheds light on the emotional turmoil of adolescence and the mounting social pressures teens face.
